John Lill and Martha Weiss are working on a study of determinants of host plant use by Silver-spotted Skippers (Epargyreus clarus) across the season.  The first brood should be flying fairly soon, and they would appreciate folks letting them know when and where they see butterflies or caterpillars (and for caterpillars, what legume host they are on).  Send your host plant records/sightings to Martha at weissm@georgetown.edu.

Do they happen to have a project set up on iNaturalist? That would be an easy way of collecting these observations.
